The Internet and broadband society demands high availability in the elctricity power deliveries. There are also other part of the society that has the same requirements.
It's hard to in a good way maintain good power-supply to modern telecom- and computersystems, optofibersystems, Internet and broadbandssystems, IP-telephony.
Local reserve power stations are often unreliable and expensive to maintain.
Centralization will increase the availability and decrease the maintenance costs.
Most electric machines can be driven with 300 V DC as well as with 230 V AC.
A separate powernet would

	- relieve the regular powernet from overtone-generating machines.
	- easily be supplemented with redundancy from reserve power stations.
A structural change is necessary within a close future.
